Accommodations
Our older cottages might be described as rustic or well-loved but they are clean and cozy! They also all have a beautiful view of the lake. The newly built cottages are roomy, bright and beautiful. Our Lodge offers plenty of space and is only a short walk from the beach. Scroll down this page for information about each cottage and the Lodge.
*Please note that our original (older) cottages are NOT winterized. However, our largest rental, the Lodge, and our newly built cottages (Goldfinch, Kingfisher, Blue Jay, Cardinal, and Blue Heron) are winterized and are available for rental during the winter months.

The Lodge
- Offers much more space than the cottages

- Two rental units in one building, separated by lockable connecting door
- Maximum occupancy: 18** (see note below Cedar description)

*We reserve summer bookings of our Lodge for larger groups (e.g. large families or multi-family groups). Therefore, during our summer vacation season, the Lodge is only available to be booked separately (Cedar OR Pine) by individual families IF, closer to summer, the full Lodge has not been spoken for by a group. In that case, the rates would be $1325/week for Pine and $1225/week for Cedar.
Pine

** The occupancy limit is higher in the Lodge (matching the total bed spaces) because the Lodge has plenty of room. However, this limit would not necessarily apply to groups of only adults/couples as the bed setup in the Lodge (with bunk beds) is not intended for all adults. We reserve the right to place lower limits in those situations.
Cottage Rental Information and Policies

- All rates are subject to HST.
- Summer rentals are from Saturday (at 1:00 pm) to Saturday (at 10:00 am). If you choose to arrive earlier, please check with one of our owners before settling into your cottage. If necessary, you may need to enjoy the property while we finish preparing your cottage.
- Off-season rentals must be a minimum of two nights. Long weekend rentals are typically a minimum of three nights.
- No bedding is provided. Please bring your own sheets, blankets and pillows. Fitted bottom sheets are required for covering the mattress protectors/encasements.
- Please fully clean the cottage before checking out and leave it in the condition in which you found it.
- Due to allergy and cleanliness concerns, guests are not permitted to bring pets.
- Cottage 5 is a single bedroom cabin that sleeps two. However, as it is spacious enough, we would allow an infant or toddler as well. No cribs/playpens are provided.
- There is a $75 weekly docking fee for motorboats. The public boat launch is just up the road. Please note that we have to limit the number of boats due to limited dock space.
Occupancy Guidelines (please read carefully)
The posted occupancy limit for certain cottages may only be exceeded (upon approval) if the number of immediate family members is more than the posted limit (does NOT include married children). Please note that we do NOT allow overcrowding of our cottages. An explanation of this policy can be found on our FAQ page.
If the posted occupancy for one of our older 3-bedroom cottages is listed as 6, we may allow up to 8 IF this only includes immediate family members (parents and their unmarried children). If it’s our older 2-bedroom cottage with a posted occupancy of 4, we may allow up to 6 under the same circumstances.
If the posted occupancy is listed as up to 8, this does not mean that the cottage can accommodate 8 adults! These numbers are the upper limit that take into account younger children sharing double bottom bunks, etc.
If your family does not fit into a cottage based on the guidelines outlined above, it is your responsibility to inquire about a larger cottage or a second cottage. If we have accidentally missed or overlooked your overcrowding of a cottage in the past, this does not permit you to overcrowd a cottage in the future. Our policies on occupancy have not changed. We have only clarified them to prevent misunderstandings.
Many of our cottages are intended for single family use as all but one bedroom in these cottages have bunk beds. Our bunk beds are not designed/intended to support the weight of two adults on a single bunk, so the number of couples staying in a cottage should not exceed the number of freestanding double/queen beds. Rebooking Information
Many of our guests are interested in rebooking their cottages for the following summer. Much of the time, this is possible. However, please note that we do NOT have an official rebooking policy that guarantees this privilege. This property is not just a rental property, it is also a space that our owner families like to enjoy together. As such, certain weeks/cottages may not be eligible for rebooking. Rebooking requests must be made by September 27. After that date, we will begin filling any openings from our waitlist.
